The Certified Traditional Naturopath (CTN) program is for individuals who are ready to stand out and become leaders in the natural health industry. This advanced naturopathic certification equips you to educate and empower your clients, family, and community to activate the body’s self-healing power through natural and holistic health principles.
As the capstone of our three-step Naturopathic Track, the CTN program builds on the foundations taught in the Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (CHHP) and Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) programs—guiding you toward mastery in natural health techniques, client evaluations and consultations, and holistic healing.
The Certified Traditional Naturopath curriculum highlights the philosophy and foundational principles of traditional naturopathy, including prevention, non-invasive techniques, restoring balance by addressing root causes, and encouraging harmony of body, mind, and spirit. The CTN program emphasizes the importance of understanding the history and development of the field of naturopathy and how it can be applied in a modern-day setting. Students will develop a deep respect for naturopathy and its classic modalities, such as muscle testing, herbology, and hydrotherapy, which can add value and depth to the guidance they provide to their clients.
Upon graduation, students are equipped with a profound understanding of traditional naturopathic principles as well as tools to cultivate thriving practices rooted in compassion, integrity, and the holistic art of natural healing.
Enrollment in the CTN program requires completion of our CHHP program or equivalent advanced natural health training.

At Trinity School of Natural Health, we deliver courses through the online classroom, Canvas. Each week, we release lecture material through recorded PowerPoint presentations, videos, or reading assignments. Students participate in weekly discussions and activities to practice their skills, foster peer interaction, and receive feedback from instructors. Additionally, weekly quizzes and a comprehensive final examination are administered in each 4-week course to measure student progress.
Our courses offer flexibility within a clear structure, allowing students to participate at times that fit their schedules while meeting defined targets. This structure helps keep students on track, ensuring they fulfill all requirements and build the confidence needed to achieve their goals.
At the end of the CTN program, students participate in a practicum where they are evaluated on their competency in the technical skills required for their designation. As part of the practicum, students also complete a comprehensive certification exam. For questions, please contact our Education Specialists at 800-428-0408, option 2.
